Detailed Itinerary for 6 days tour from Tangier :
Day1: Tanger to Chefchauen
On the first day of our 6-day Morocco tour from Tangier, we will meet you at the airport, port, or even at your hotel in Tangier. Then we will get ready for an amazing journey through Morocco. After picking you up in Tangier, if you prefer, we will go on a sightseeing visit in Tangier. Next, we will head to the blue city of Chefchaouen, an amazing town in Morocco located in the Rif Mountains. Once we reach Chefchaouen, we will check in at our riad in the town and then go explore and enjoy the historical sites of this unique attraction in Morocco
day2: from Chefchuaen > Roman ruins > meknes > Fez
On the second day of our Morocco tour from Tangier, after a tasty breakfast in our riad or hotel in Chefchaouen, we will get ready to continue our 6-day travel package in Morocco. Today, our first attraction to visit will be the Roman ruins called Volubilis. After exploring this unique historical site in Morocco, we will continue the tour to Meknes, one of the best Moroccan imperial cities. We will visit the famous Bab Mansour gate and explore around the old Medina of Meknes. Later, we will drive from Meknes towards Fez, one of the oldest places in the world with a majestic history and places to visit. We will overnight in the Fez medina to experience the authenticity of Moroccan riads in Morocco.
Day3 : Guided tour into Fez Medina
Explore the old medina of Fes, a site steeped in history and cultural significance. While no longer the capital, Fes remains Morocco’s paramount cultural and spiritual hub. Delve into Al-Qarawiyyin, the world’s oldest university founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihriya and recognized by UNESCO as continuously operating since its inception. Visit renowned landmarks like the Nejjarine Fountain, historic Medersas, and the now-museum Batha Palace showcasing Moroccan art and customs. Witness the ancient tanneries in the Tanners’ District and marvel at the Merenid craftsmanship of El-Attarine Madrasa. Don’t miss the grand Karaouine Mosque, symbolizing Islamic scholarship for over a millennium. Day4 : From Fes to Merzouga passing by Middle atlas > Azrou and ifran
Today, the highlight of our 6-day travel in Morocco awaits. After a tasty breakfast at our riad in Fez, we will get ready to depart for Merzouga Desert, around 8:00 or 9:00. We will leave Fez and head towards the Middle Atlas Mountains, where impressive views await. Once we reach the top of the Middle Atlas, we will make stops to enjoy the natural landscapes. Then, we will continue the tour towards Ifrane and the Azrou Cedar Forest, home to friendly monkeys. We will make stops to enjoy the forest and meet the small monkeys. Later, we will drive to Midelt, where we will enjoy a tasty lunch. Afterward, we will continue driving to Merzouga, passing by the Ziz Valley. We will enjoy stops to admire the views of this beautiful natural oasis. Finally, we will reach Merzouga. Tonight, we will spend it at a beautiful riad or hotel in front of the Erg Chebbi dunes, with dinner included.
Day5: Desert exploration by jeep + camel ride and night a Luxury camp in Merzouga
On the fifth day of our Morocco inclusive tour, we woke up to enjoy an amazing sunrise. After breakfast at the Merzouga hotel, we will embark on a desert exploration trip around Merzouga. We will visit nomadic families who live in the desert, as well as pass by the old route of the Dakar race. Then, we will visit a Gnawa music gathering where we can enjoy African instruments. Later, we will drive into the dunes, take pictures, and stop in the middle of the sand dunes. Afterward, we will return to the hotel. You will have free time in Merzouga center for lunch. In the afternoon, you will have the option to enjoy an amazing camel ride to the dunes. If you prefer not to ride a camel, you can opt for a jeep ride instead. Witness the sunset in the middle of the desert at Merzouga dunes. Later, we will head to our luxury desert camp in the heart of the Sahara. Here, an amazing adventure awaits us as we spend the night in a private luxury camp under the stars. Enjoy dinner and music by the campfire.
Day 6 : Merzouga > dades Gorges > Ouarzazate > Atlas Mountains > Marrakech
After waking up at the desert camp in Merzouga, enjoy an amazing sunrise over the dunes before having breakfast. Then, we will drive you back by jeep from the camp to the town of Merzouga, getting ready to continue our Morocco travel. Today, our first attraction will be the Dades Valley. Before reaching there, we will enjoy several attractions and stops along the way. Later, we will visit the Todra Gorges and enjoy exploring these natural wonders. Afterwards, we will drive you back, passing by the Dades Valley, to Ouarzazate. Upon reaching Ouarzazate, we will have lunch before visiting the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, we will drive to Marrakech, passing by the High Atlas Mountains.
