Day 2: Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

Embark on Day 2 with breakfast, departing from your Ouarzazate hotel at 8 a.m. Along the scenic road of 1000 kasbahs, marvel at Skoura palm grove’s Amerhidil and Ait Abbou Kasbahs. Pass through Kelaat Mgouna, famous for its annual rose festival in May.

Continuing through the Valley of Roses, Boumalen Dades, and Tineghir, take in the picturesque palm groves and Jewish quarter. Arrive at the Todra Gorges for lunch and a trek along the towering canyons reaching 300 m.

Next, ride back on camels to meet your driver and start the journey from Merzouga dunes to Fes. Traverse the picturesque Ziz Valley, Errachida, and Midelt, enjoying scenic landscapes. Have lunch during the journey and take a short break to observe monkeys in the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas near Azrou city at “Gourrou forests.”
