Spending two nights in the Merzouga Desert can be the perfect option because one night is only for those who are short on time. However, if you have more time, consider spending two nights in the Merzouga Desert. This way, you will have the chance to make the most of your time in the desert. Additionally, you will have enough time to do extra activities such as quad biking in Erg Chebbi, Merzouga. Moreover, you can go on a Jeep desert safari to explore around Merzouga.

2 Nights in luxury camp camel trekking in merzouga desert Itinerary :

Day 1 ; Merzouga > Erg chebbi Merzouga Desert > Camel ride overnight Sahara Camp

Your 2-night camel trek in Merzouga will start once you reach our office in Merzouga village. After you park your car in our private, secured parking , we will ensure your vehicle is safe. However, in case you are visiting Merzouga by bus or taxi, don’t worry; we will arrange a pick-up for you from anywhere in Merzouga center. Then, we will transfer you to our office. Later in the afternoon, about 1 hour before sunset, you will start your camel ride into the Merzouga Sahara Desert, crossing the Erg Chebbi dunes. Your camel caravan will be led by an expert local guide who knows the desert well. Once you are in the middle of the desert, you will make a stop to enjoy an amazing sunset over the golden sand dunes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enjoy sandboarding in the dunes.

Afterward, we will continue our desert trek to our desert camp. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with mint tea. Next, you will receive your private tent and then enjoy dinner, followed by a fire music party. Finally, you will have free time to enjoy stargazing before going to sleep.

Day 2 : Full Day at the Desert Camp or Optional Activities

On the second day, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise, an optional activity. Afterward, you will have your breakfast. Today, you have the entire day to enjoy the tranquility of the Moroccan desert. However, in case you want to go for some adventures, we offer various activities in the Merzouga Desert. These activities allow you to explore the surroundings and make the most of your visit to Erg Chebbi, Merzouga.

Around sunset time, you will climb the dunes in front of our campsite. Then, you will enjoy the sunset from another vantage point in the Erg Chebbi Desert. At night, you will enjoy a tasty dinner, followed by fire music.

Day 3 :

This morning would be our last day of our Merzouga experience. You will have the chance to enjoy the sunrise and then take breakfast. Additionally, you will have time to take a shower at the desert camp. Afterward, get ready to return to our office where you had parked your car. However, make sure you return by camel riding too.
